Normalizing to partial-body SAR

Hi all,
I would like to normalize the input power of my birdcage simulation to the normal operating mode.
This includes considering whole body, head, and partial body SAR.
Calculations of whole body and head SAR seem rather straightforward, however I am struggling with the computation of partial-body SAR.According to IEC guidelines, it is defined as the SAR averaged over the region of the body that received 95% of the deposited power. And for the normal operating mode, its SAR limit is subsequently calculated as follows: "partial body SAR = 10 - (8 * exposed patient mass / patient mass)".
However, when I do these calculations in Sim4Life. The partial body SAR limit is always less stringent than whole body SAR limit (even for placement of the calfs in the center of the birdcage coil).
Does anyone have experience with normalisation to partial-body SAR (pbSAR), or any tips on how to tackle this issue? If desired, I could also share the code I currently use to compute wbSAR and pbSAR limits.

Hi,
The definition you are using to calculate the partial body SAR seems slightly different to what is specified otherwise, another point might be that it is generally it is not a limiting factor. However, if possible we would like to take a closer look at the smash project/codes to understand what you are exactly trying to do.
