How to assign thickness to a spiral/coil/helix wire structure?

Thanks for your kind reply. However, I just do not see the "Modify" icon on my toolbar (S4L Student ed.) when I click on some coil (pls, see the enclosed screenshot). I did manage to thicken the loop using the Wire tools (originally created by Sketch>Arc), but wire thickening is neither part of the Wire tools nor does the Modify icon appear in the toolbar when it comes to the selection of a coil.

I see that you are using the old version of Sim4Life's student edition. I suggest to start using the new, online version. You can request an account from this link:
